PURIM FESTIVITIES – Congregation Beth Shalom celebrated Purim on Feb. 27 and 28, 2010, led by Rabbi Yerachmiel Shapiro. Rabbi Yerachmiel lent his usual energy and fun to the occasion by reading in voice for the various characters in Megillat Esther, the story of Purim, which commemorates the redemption of the Jewish People.
