ADULT EDUCATION

The study of Torah is essential in forming a meaningful Jewish existence. The study of Jewish philosophy, ethics, and mysticism transforms and enlightens us on our journey through life.

Congregation Beth Shalom offers a variety of classes on all levels to engage our members and friends in Torah learning. Our classes include:

• Introduction to Jewish Prayer
• Jewish Meditation
• Weekly Torah/Bible Classes
• Talmud
• Kabbalah (Jewish Mysticism)

Rabbi Harrison is also available for one-on-one tutoring for members and friends.

 



YOUTH PROGRAMS

We firmly believe that the key to Jewish continuity is an inspired Jewish youth. Rabbi Harrison endeavors to be a friend and mentor, building solid relationships with local youth. To that end, the Congregation hosts events for the youth to socialize, learn Torah, and have fun.

Rabbi Harrison offers Jewish education classes to all ages as well as Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation.

Rabbi Harrison and his wife, Hindy, are also available for one-on-one tutoring for children of members and friends. If you are interested in discussing Hebrew school or Jewish educational options for your child, please contact Rabbi Harrison.
